FPCM's LOGOS Family Night is a fun and casual evening of fellowship for the entire family! Featuring classes for adults and the ever popular LOGOS, our dynamic mid-week ministry for children and youth from kindergarten through high school. Every Wednesday, the evening kicks off with LOGOS recreation in the gym, followed by delicious family-style dinners, Bible study, crafts and singing, and inspiring adult classes.

The LOGOS Program is a system through which a congregation ministers to the whole person. The weekly meetings are made up of four basic segments: Play Time, Family Time, Bible Study, and Worship Skills.

Purposes of the LOGOS Program are:

To create an understanding and desire for accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior.
To develop intelligent, active, loyal discipleship and leadership in the church.
To provide worthwhile study, wholesome recreation and opportunities for service within a Christian community.
To enable young people to face the inevitable moral trials and assaults on Christian faith with spiritual maturity and conviction.
To develop Christians who are able and willing to communicate their faith and assume personal responsibility in assisting in the building of God’s kingdom on earth

Shalom (Pastor Jerry Iwerks) - Pastor Jerry will be leading a Bible study on "shalom." We translate this Hebrew word as "peace," but it means much more than peace. To greet someone with "shalom" is a wish for blessing and salvation. The Bible is only understood well when we get back to the original meanings of the profound theme of God's revelation. One of the most significant themes is "shalom." If you want the "rest of the story, come to class. See you there!

Helping Children and Grandchildren Succeed
(Mary Scott Singer) -
Using the building blocks of the 40 Developmental Assets, this class will explore: listening skills; multiple intelligences; avoiding at-risk behavior-- including addictions; building social skills; building inter- generational strengths; and preparing young people for life's challenges.

Sit & Knit - Knitters Barbara Allen, Soni Dorr, Tootsie Ellis and Marc Thompson will offer instruction to beginner knitters of all ages who want to learn this fun and practical craft. Experienced knitters are welcome to bring their needles and join the conversation. This class will meet for the first 6 weeks.
